Privacy

Private by default.

The short version: The current beta has no account, advertising, automatic analytics or cloud database. Your tasks, check-ins, notes and parked thoughts stay in local app storage on your device unless you export them.

Information stored by the app

Quiet Next stores projects, routine history, optional practice feedback, timer state, parked thoughts, productivity check-ins, preferences, optional fixed-choice beta answers and basic on-device usage counts in local app storage. This information is used only to provide the app on that device.

Information sent over the internet

The beta does not send your app entries to Quiet Next. Cloudflare may process ordinary connection and security information, such as an IP address, browser type and request time, to deliver and protect the website. Quiet Next does not add product analytics or advertising trackers.

Custom routines and future purchases

Custom routine names, practice sequences and durations stay in local app storage and your chosen backups. Purchases are currently disabled, and the purchase SDK is not configured or contacted. A future store-native Plus purchase would use RevenueCat to verify store transactions, process purchase and restore requests, and reflect refunds or revoked access. Store access would be a deliberate choice after an in-app disclosure. It would send an anonymous purchase identifier and store transaction information, never your routines, tasks, notes or check-ins. Advertising identifiers, attribution integrations and optional SDK diagnostics are disabled in the prepared integration. Purchase-provider retention, data rights and store privacy declarations must be published and verified before activation.

Restoring a local backup restores content only. It cannot create or transfer paid ownership. Deleting local app content does not refund a store purchase. Use the store refund process; your free tools and exports remain available if a purchase is refunded.

Exports and reports

Full JSON and CSV exports may contain information you entered. They leave the app only when you download and choose to share them. The beta report contains private counts and any optional fixed-choice beta answers you select. It excludes task text, notes, check-in ratings, parked thoughts, exact activity dates and device details. You can review every report field before downloading or emailing it. If you choose to email the report, your mail provider and Quiet Next will receive the report, the email address you send it from and anything else you add to the message.

Support messages

If you email Quiet Next, the support inbox receives your email address and the information you choose to include. Send only what is needed for the question or problem. Support and security messages are deleted within 30 days after the issue is closed unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

Notifications

Notification permission is optional. Timer alerts use generic text and do not include project names, task names or health information.

Deletion and retention

You can clear local data in Settings. Removing browser site data, clearing app storage or uninstalling the app may also delete it. Download a backup first if you want to restore it later. For a voluntarily emailed beta report, the original email and temporary report file are deleted after the report is validated and assigned a random pseudonym, unless the message is still needed for an active support or security issue under the limit above. The pseudonymous report is deleted within 90 days after it is received, or within 30 days after the beta evaluation ends if that is sooner. Aggregate statistics that no longer identify a sender may be retained. You can ask for earlier deletion by emailing [email protected] from the address used to send the report.

Health-related information

Check-ins remain local in this beta. Quiet Next does not sell them, use them for advertising or use them to provide medical advice.
